The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 55 new cases of Covid in the country.
Lagos State recorded the highest infections of 37, Edo-6, Osun-5 Oyo-4, Ogun-2 and Ekiti-1.
The latest figure brings confirmed case of covid in Nigeria to 214,622, with 207,450 successfully treated and discharged cases. The number of death stands at 2,980.

Kaduna, Ondo, Rivers, and Sokoto States recorded no case of infection.
