Dowen College: Lagos CP Orders Full Investigation Into Cause Of Student’s Death

Barely three days after the commissioner of police Lagos state command, Hakeem Odumosu ordered full investigation into the controversy surrounding the death of 12year old Sylvester Oromoni, three suspects are now in police custody over the incident.

The three suspects according to the police commissioner were arrested for allegedly assaulting late Oromoni who sustained injuries which led to his death.
Odumosu explained that two other suspects implicated in the incident are still at large.

The arrested suspects he explained will assist the police in tracking the remaining suspects.

Meanwhile, the school principal, housemates and other officials of Dowen College, Lekki, the CP says will assist the police with information just as the State police command has embarked on a full scale probe to unravel the perpetrators of the heinous crime committed on November 30th 2021 which led to the death of Sylvester Oromoni.

Odumosu however assured that the police is working round the clock to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book no matter what, as he is in touch with his Delta State counterpart including the family of the deseased over the incident.

The Lagos state government at the wake of the incident friday ordered the indefinite closure of the college which the government was carried out on Sunday when its officials arrived at the school and sealed the entrance into the compound.
