Bauchi Gov. Condoles With Families Of Slain Vigilantes In Bandits’ Attack

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has assured the people of Bauchi State, that his administration will not be deterred in ensuring the state’s safety and peace.

The governor gave the assurance while condoling with the families of slain professional hunters and vigilantes who were ambushed and attacked by suspected bandits in Mansur Village, Alkaleri Local Government Area.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado, the suspected bandits laid ambush on the professional hunters who were on routine patrol along Duguri, Mansur and Dajin Mada Forest.

Governor Mohammed extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the people of Alkaleri Local Government, and the entire Bauchi State.

He prays for the repose of the souls of the fallen heroes who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty, to protect their communities.

The governor reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to tackling all forms of insecurity across the state.

He calls on residents to stand united and work hand in hand with security agencies, by providing timely and credible information, to help prevent such tragic occurrences in the future.

While the government intensifies collaboration with security forces to bring the perpetrators of this dastardly act to justice, Governor Bala Mohammed assures the public that no effort will be spared in ensuring Bauchi remains a safe and peaceful state for all.
