The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade the 111 is dead.
The monarch joined his ancestors in the early hours of today.

Though The death of the monarch has not been announced officially according to sources in the town, but clergy and prominent sons and daughters of Ogbomoso land are thronging the Palace of the paramount ruler to felicitate with the family of the deceased monarch.
However, sons and Daughters of Ogbomosho land have been trooping to the Palace of the Oba to pay condolences.
The monarch died at the age of 95.
He reigned for 48 years.
He ascended the throne of his forefathers on October 24, 1973.
The king is set to be intern today by 4pm in the Palace promises.
