The Ondo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Akure has upheld the victory of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 2024 Governorship election in the state.

The three-member tribunal panel, led by Justice Benson Ogubu, unanimously ruled that the allegations of massive irregularities and non-compliance with the Electoral Act raised by the candidate of the People’s democratic Party, Agboola Ajayi and other political parties cannot be substantiated.
