‎‎FCT Police receive containerized armoury to enhance arms management

‎Police in the Federal Capital Territory have received a state-of-the-art containerized armoury donated by a German-based Organisation.

‎Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Armament, Isyaku Mohammed who took delivery of the armoury said the gesture will help the command effectively manage its arms and ammunition and prevent accidental discharges
‎
‎Ishaku said the facility, constructed in line with international best practices, is designed to enhance safe and secure storage of arms and ammunition.

‎Representatives of the German Ambassador and the US Embassy said the donation is another indication of strong bilateral relations between Nigeria and Germany in the area of security and safety of citizens.
