The confusion that emanated from the north-east zonal meeting of the All Progressives Congress in Gombe State is beginning to have ripple effect on the party as stakeholders are reacting to the disruption at the event.
The Arewa Youths for Peaceful Coexistence condemned the disorder saying it does not represent the values of the party.
The FCT Coordinator of the group, Okpanachi Ogah has therefore demanded a public apology from the Deputy National Chairman, North East Mustapha Salihu over the conduct of some of the members of the party in the zone.
He also urged party stakeholders, especially from the North, to rise above personal interests and support the national leadership in building a united front for 2027.
He also called on Party members, especially the youth, to reject violence and embrace peace and dialogue.
The group noted that the 2027 election can only be won by APC through strategic planing rather than in-fighting and personal interest.
The youths called for restraint, unity and loyalty to the vision of the party and the nation
