KADUNA Insecurity: 9 Killed In Fresh Attack, 2 Injured

No fewer than nine persons have been reportedly killed across three local government areas in Kaduna State.

The Local Government Areas, LGAs, are, Chikun, Zango Kataf and Zaria.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, made this disclosure in a press statement.

He said that the military and police authorities revealed this to the state government.

According to the statement, three people were killed and others sustained injuries, when bandits barricaded the Buruku-Udawa section of the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road, in Chikun LGA.

It further stated that in the Yola-Kadi general area in Chikun LGA, bandits killed one Danjuma Maiungwa and left another resident injured.

While in Zangon Kataf, two persons were reportedly killed by the bandits in Sako Village while two corpses were discovered by a patrol team in the Kurfi-Magamiya general area.

The statement also revealed that in Zaria LGA, one Alhaji Habibu was shot dead by the bandits in Saye Village.
