In a an unprecedented move to curb the rising incidents of violence, drug abuse, and cult-related killings in Ondo city, hundreds of youths have staged a peaceful rally to draw attention to the worsening security situation in their communities.
The rally, organized in response to recent cult clashes that have reportedly claimed over 40 lives, was led by concerned residents and notable community leaders from within Ondo kingdom.
Speakers condemned what they said were senseless killings and the growing influence of cult groups, calling for urgent intervention by both government and security agencies.
The concerned youths stressed the need for the arrest and prosecution of those behind the violence to restore lasting peace and order in the area.
