Kaduna State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Edward Masha says the party remains strong and capable of accommodating other opposition groups in the state, citing the current political strength with three senators and several members in the House of Representatives.

Speaking during a party meeting in Kaduna, Masha clarified that the PDP has not entered into any coalition agreement with other political parties at the moment.

He, however, expressed disappointment over the resignation of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar from the PDP.

Also speaking at the event, the member representing Jama’a and Sanga Federal Constituency, Dan Amos, denied rumours of his defection from the PDP and reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to the party.

Masha further stated that PDP’s performance during its 16 years in power, both in Kaduna and across Nigeria, remains unmatched.

According to him, the people of the state are still aligned with the party’s vision and legacy.
