The Executive Chairman of Guma Local Government and Benue State ALGON Chairman, Maurice Orwough, has announced a temporary relocation of his office from Gbajimba to Daudu due to the security situation in the area.
Orwough in a statement by his Personal Assistant, Communication and Strategy Ernest Tortiv said all official engagements, including meetings and visits, will now be held in Daudu town until further notice.
The Council Chairman explained that the decision is born out of his commitment to staying close to the people and gaining first hand experience of the security challenges in the area.

The Chairman also disclosed that both the Guma Local Government Secretariat and the Chairman’s Lodge in Gbajimba are currently undergoing renovation and will be ready for use soon.
Orwough appealed for continued support and cooperation from all stakeholders, reiterating his dedication to the fight against insecurity in Guma.
