Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman of the North Central States Governors’ Forum, Abdullahi Sule has endorsed a peace-building collaboration with Nigerian music icon and Goodwill Ambassador, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.
The initiative, under the banner United North-Central for Peace Promotion (UNCPP), seeks to use music, concerts, community outreach, and awareness campaigns to inspire peace and tolerance among youths across Abuja, Nasarawa, Benue, Plateau, Niger, and Kwara States.

Governor Sule praised 2Baba for championing the project, stressing that music as a unifying tool would help reduce violence and heal divided communities.
Innocent Idibia, known by the stage name, ‘2Baba’ noted that the North Central region has faced waves of communal clashes, banditry, and socio-political unrest, which makes the project timely.

He explained that United North Central for peace, promotion (UNCPP) will target youths, students, policymakers, religious leaders, civil society, and displaced persons to strengthen dialogue, tolerance, and non-violence through music.

During the formal presentation of the United North Central for Peace Promotion proposal, Governor Sule assured citizens of the region of his commitment to engaging his fellow Governors in endorsing and supporting the initiative.
