A team of security operatives engaged the suspected kidnappers in a fierce gun duel. As a result, three suspected kidnappers were neutralized, one AK47 rifle, one magazine, and seven live ammunition were also recovered from them.

This achievement was included in a statement from the Kebbi police headquarter signed by Nafiu Abubakar on behalf of the state Command and made available to journalists in BirninKebbi

The State Commissioner of police, Bello Sani praised the Security Agencies for their courageous response. He noted that the successful operation has demonstrated the Command’s determination to securing the State against violent crimes.

He further appreciated the role played by the local communities for sharing the intelligence promptly, without which, the police operatives cannot succeed.
