Embattled Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Hycinth Aondona Dajoh has resigned his position.
In a handwritten letter addressed to the clerk and shared on his social media handle, Dajoh says his decision “is in good faith and in best interest of the State.” He titled the post, “let there be peace”.
His resignation is coming days after the Assembly suspended four of member for period of three months for plotting the impeachment of the Speaker.
