Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno has concluded his town square meetings in the state with a promise to take a critical look at the needs of each local government area.
Governor Eno made the promise at the grand finale of the town square meetings in Nsit Ubium local government area of the state.
It was tagged The Grand Home Coming and so it was as Governor Umo Eno rounded off his tour of the 10 Federal Constituencies of the state in Etinan/ Nsit Ubium/ Nsit Ibom Federal Constituency, his home constituency. The venue was electrifying. The crowd thick.
844 farmers, traders, macro, small, medium entrepreneurs got N361,450,00m grants including cars and equipment.
Governor Eno promised to be fair to all local government areas in the distribution of projects.
Stakeholders in the constituency led by Senator Effiong Bob ( who presented the Needs document) and the Oku Ibom Ibibio, Solomon Etuk applauded the Governor for his sterling performance and assured him their continued support.
There was unanimous endorsement of the Governor for a second term in office.
