Two years into his administration, Niger State Governor, Umar Bago has announced the dissolution of his cabinet, retaining the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers in his office.
Reasons for the dissolution were not disclosed in the statement issued by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Bologi Ibrahim.
The governor announced the decision during the State Executive Council meeting at the Council Chamber in Minna.

He appreciated them for the services they rendered towards the development of the state and wished them the best in their future endeavours.
