President Bola Tinubu has ordered an immediate review of security operations in Katsina State to halt the recent spate of attacks on innocent citizens by bandits.
The President who received a delegation of eminent citizens of the state led by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda at the State House assured that the armed forces will deploy more advanced military hardware and surveillance gadgets to support the security efforts.
The President also announced plans to consider the operations of state police and further equip recently deployed forest guards.
He emphasized the need for security outfits that understand the terrain and culture of the people, particularly in states with unique security challenges.
