Over 80 Nigerians are heading to the United Kingdom in the next few days having won Chevening and Commonwealth scholarships for postgraduate studies.
This 2025 edition of the awards comes at a time the UK authorities is preparing to deport thousands of foreign students who have overstayed their visas.
At a send forth put togther for some of the scholarship recipients, the Deputy Brirish High Commissioner, Gwen Lever said the UK will continue to contributes to developing young Nigerians so that the benefitting scholars return to add value to Nigeria’s growth.
