Nigeria’s National Orientation Agency has begun cascading its activities to the rural areas in Gombe state, the agency commenced it rural enlightenment drive in Kwami local government to enlighten communities on policies of the Federal government, national values reorientation for students, flood mitigation, national identity project and awareness on security.
According to officials of the agency in the state this drive though is from the federal government is seeking for collaboration from the state government for it to have maximum impact on the people in the state.
An enlightenment campaign begins in malam sidi a community in kwami local government area of Gombe state, a change for the agency to champion the agenda of reformation for all strata of the people in the state.
With direct communication in the local language the agency is talking to the traditional community on the essence of ensuring the people in the rural communities are enlightened on the new policies of the federal government.

At the press conference the agency thus expounded on these new policies and highlighted their importance to the people.
It called on the state government for collaboration in enlightenment drive to ensure the people gain access to the numerous programmes of the federal government.
This step the agency says has gained acceptance from the traditional community in kwami local government and will be taken to all local government areas in the state.
