The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Edo State Command, Gbenga Agun on Thursday, slumped and died few minutes after giving his goodwill message at a public event in Benin city, the State capital where he was an awardee.
Some officials of the Corps who were at the event tried to resuscitate him, but it proved abortive.

ait.live sources said Gbenga was immediately rushed to the Military Base Hospital in Benin, but was confirmed Dead on Arrival.
There’s no official statement yet from the NSCDC and the family over the incident.
