Former Governorship aspirant in Kogi state and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Saidu Ugonoh says the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu are designed to give Nigeria a fresh breath, and noted that all nations that achieved economic stability have passed through similar processes at one point or the other and Nigeria is already exiting her worse days.

Saidu Ugonoh also noted that the newly elected national chairman of the APC, professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has so far demonstrated rare capacity to reposition the party ahead of the 2027 general election stressing that all that is needed is to remain hopeful and allow the completion of the process.

According to him, the chairman’s ability to motivate, adapt and build relationships that will further promote the party and Nigeria are qualities that younger politicians and leaders must imbibe for inspiration.

The former adviser to ex-speaker of the House of Representatives on Diaspora affairs
said the APC national chairman has proven to many that leadership is requires a combination of innate qualities and developed skills.

He said as candidate of the party for the 2023 Governorship elections in Plateau, former minister and now national chairman, Professor Nentawe has shown uncommon qualities of an emerging leader that is prepared to handle complex challenges and find solutions to problems, adding that without sound and disciplined home training and upbringing he could not have achieved all that.

He called on Nigerians to reflect on the gains of democracy and support the leadership of the APC .

In a condolence message to the APC chairman over the demise of his mother who was laid to rest last Saturday, the former Governorship aspirant said death is a necessary end and regardless of the age, the loss of a mother pierces deeply and urged the APC national chairman to take solace in the fact that his mother lived a life worthy of emulation as testimonies of her positive impacts on the lives of the less privileged and everyone that had an encounter with her abounds.

He prayed God grants Professor Nentawe the fortitude to bear the death of his mother, late Mrs. lydia Nentawe, and grant her soul eternal rest.
