Nigeria's Vice President, Kashim Shettima

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima, has directed the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), to come up with new fares within 2 days.

This decision is based on the recent appreciation of the Naira against the US Dollar, a key determinant for pilgrimage fares.
‎
‎The Vice President handed down the President’s directive during a meeting with NAHCON management and Board members at the Presidential Villa.

Shettima, emphasized the need for synergy among national and state officials, including Governors, to streamline and adopt a new set of fares for the exercise.
