The Niger Delta development commission (NDDC), says it will continue to collaborate with stakeholders to tackle development challenges within the Niger Delta region.
The managing director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, reaffirmed this during the”Public Relations Week” of the Rivers State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, South South Nigeria.
The managing director of the NDDC in a message delivered by the director, corporate affairs, Seledi Wakama-Thompson, said the commission’s imprints within the Niger Delta region are not done in isolation but with the support of stakeholders.

The NDDC DG identified some of the challenges confronting the region to include environmental, poverty, unemployment, road infrastructure and quality healthcare delivery.
The managing director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, however, assured citizens of the Niger Delta region that the commission remains ready to collaborate with the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and other relevant stakeholders that would add value to the lives of the people of the region.
The theme of the Rivers State Public Relations Week is, “refocusing stakeholder engagement and public thrust in a challenging economy.”
