The Edo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, has reiterated its commitment to promoting, empowering, and protecting the girl-child.
This assurance was given at an event organized to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child.
Speaking at the event, the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady, Edesiri Anani, highlighted the vital role girls play as agents of change in building a sustainable society.
