The Edo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, has reiterated its commitment to promoting, empowering, and protecting the girl-child.
This assurance was given at an event organized to commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child.
Speaking at the event, the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady, Edesiri Anani, highlighted the vital role girls play as agents of change in building a sustainable society.

She called for stronger collaboration among stakeholders to empower girls to lead with courage, compassion, and conviction, stressing that their dreams are valid and their voices must be heard in shaping a world where they can thrive and lead without limits.
