Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant -General Olufemi Oluyede

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Olufemi Oluyede, has issued a stern warning to adversaries of the Nigerian state, declaring that their time is running out as the Army intensifies efforts to restore peace and security across the country.

The Army Chief issued the warning during the Exercise Vulcan Glow XI 2025 Study Period, held at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery in Kachia, Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria.

Exercise Vulcan Glow XI 2025 forms part of the Nigerian Army’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and sustain the fight against insecurity nationwide.

Represented by the Deputy Chief of Training, Major-General Musa Etsu-Ndagi, the Chief of Army Staff said the exercise was designed to prepare artillery formations and units to effectively support army operations across the country.

He emphasised the need for greater innovation in fire support delivery, noting that modern warfare requires ability and the utilisation of emerging technologies.
