NPFL: Niger Tornadoes beat Plateau United 4-0 to sit on number 4 on log table

Niger Tornadoes now have fourteen points from nine matches and occupy fourth position on the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL table with their 4-nil defeat of Plateau United FC of Jos.

The club’s Technical Adviser, Majin Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the team’s triumph in a week nine thrilling encounter at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium in Minna.

Coach Mohammed said his team played according to instructions and didn’t repeat the mistakes made in previous games against Plateau United of Jos.

Also speaking, the Technical Adviser of the Plateau United football club of Jos, Coach Shola Adigun, said that he was not too comfortable with the four goals to nil thrashing by a better side like Niger Tornadoes.

He said they will go back and see where the team went wrong and proffer solutions to all the departments of the team for better performance in subsequent matches.

Tornadoes’ jersey number twenty player, Abdulaziz Dalhatu, scored three unanswered goals to become the player of the match.

The first goal of the match was scored in the first half while two were scored in the second half of the game.

The fourth goal of the encounter was scored in the second half of the game through Terdoov Shamagande who wore jersey number twenty-four.

Niger Tornadoes’ next game is an away trip to Kano to meet Kano Pillars.
