The Peoples Democratic Party Anambra State chapter has suspended its Governorship candidate, Jude Ezenwafor, just three days after the election which the party lost woefully
The state executives accused the candidate of misconduct, failure to hold campaigns in the just concluded governorship election and alleged connivance with candidates of other political parties to sabotage chances of PDP in the election.
The PDP and its candidate Jude Ezenwafor could only muster 1,401 votes out of 584, 054 valid votes cast in the election, coming a distant 6th in the final results

The disharmony that contributed to its poor performance is progressing into a full blown crisis as the state executive has accused the candidate Jude Ezenwafor of being responsible for the party’s failure
Anambra State PDP chairman, Chidi Chidebe, after the State Executive committee meeting of the party, accused the candidate of what he calls “manipulative misconducts” during the electioneering period, noting that his actions during and after the election has vindicated their concerns.
Chidebe, also alleged extortions by the Governorship candidates, pointing out that after deliberations, the State Executive committee resolved to immediately suspend Nwaforfrom PDP for a period of one month.
But the candidate has rejected the claims, describing the persons claiming to be PDP executives in Anambra state as impostors
In his reactions, the PDP governorship candidate, Jude Ezenwafor has described his suspension by those he described as impostors as nonsensical, alleging that all attempts were made to frustrate him, including an attempt on his life, which is currently being investigated by the IGP.
