Fifty school children have escaped from the terrorists’ den and have reunited with their parents out of the abducted 303 pupils and students.
The pupils were said to have escaped between Friday and Saturday and had reunited with their parents, as they could not return to school after escaping.
Niger State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Most Reverend Bulus Yohanna, who gave the update in a statement by his media aide, Daniel Atori, said the number of 50 was ascertained when they decided to contact and visit some parents.
According to him, for the records, there are 251 primary pupils, 14 secondary students and 12 teachers still with their abductors
In the primary section, out of the total number of 430 pupils in the school, 377 of them are boarders, and the remaining 53 are non-boarders.
