President Bola Tinubu is in an extended security meeting with Service Chiefs at the State House, Abuja.

The high-level briefing, which began earlier in the day, is still ongoing, with the President receiving situation updates and operational reports from the heads of the nation’s security architecture.

In attendance are the Chief of Army Staff, the Chief of Air Staff, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS).

The meeting is part of renewed efforts by the administration to strengthen national security coordination and respond more decisively to emerging threats across the country.

Photographs from the closed-door session show the President presiding over the briefing, flanked by the Service Chiefs as they review documents and outline current operations.

Although details of the deliberations have not yet been disclosed, the extended duration of the meeting underscores the urgency the President has placed on enhancing internal security and ensuring the safety of citizens nationwide.

An official statement from the Presidency is expected at the conclusion of the briefing.
