The Kebbi State Police Command says armed bandits invaded Zodi Village, Zuru LGA of the State and rustled unspecified number of livestock.
The police ambushed them, as a result, many bandits were neutralized while others fled into the forest with fatal gunshot wounds.

Police recovered Ninety six cows, two motorcycles, and forty five sheep as exhibits. The recovered livestock have been handed over to the village head of Zodi for safe return to the rightful owners,
The Kebbi State Police Commissioner Bello Sani, commended the gallantry performance of the 36 PMF Personnel and charged them to sustain the momentum.
He reiterated the Command’s unwavering determination to ensuring the security and safety of the good people of Kebbi State.
