President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the name of General Christopher Musa to the Senate for screening and confirmation as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a letter read during Tuesday’s plenary by the President of the Senate, the President explained that the request complies with Section 147(2) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended).
He urged lawmakers to give the nominee expeditious consideration.
The Senate has referred the confirmation request to the Committee of the Whole for immediate screening at plenary.
