President Bola Tinubu has approved the composition of governing boards for the National Agricultural Development Fund, NADF, Bank of Agriculture, BOA, and the Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, as part of ongoing reforms to strengthen key national institutions.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Friday, for Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura earlier appointed in July continues as chairman of the UBEC Board.

New members include Uchendu Ikechi Mbaegbulem representing the South-East, Gift Ngo for South-South, Ibiwunmi Akinnola for South-West, Dr. Meiro Mandara for North-East, Dr. Abdu Imam Saulawa for North-West and Professor Paul Ibukun-Olu Bolorunduro for the North-Central. They are to serve an initial four-year term.

The President also confirmed earlier-announced appointments into the Bank of Agriculture, naming Muhammad Babangida as Chairman and Ayo Sotinrin as Managing Director.
