Ondo state Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has warned local government chairmen and administrators to shun corruption and offences that could lead them to the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
Speaking to local government officials on the importance of compliance at training with the code of conduct for public officers organised by the Code of Conduct Bureau, Governor Aiyedatiwa declared zero tolerance for corruption.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Olayide Adelami insisted on asset declaration by public officials in the state .

He described the tarining programme as a critical platform for reinforcing the ethical values that underpin credible, transparent, and people-centred governance.
The governor emphasized that asset declaration must be taken seriously by all public office holders, particularly those entrusted with managing public funds at the grassroots level.
Governor Aiyedatiwa noted that his administration is determined to reform local government administration by enforcing strict adherence to the rule of law, financial discipline, and uncompromising compliance with the Code of Conduct for Public Officers.
