The Recording Academy, organiser of the annual Grammy awards is set to honour Nigeria’s late legendary afrobeat musician, music composer saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist Olufela Anikulapo Kuti with a lifetime achievement award.
Fela as he was fondly called; a man regarded as the originator of afrobeat music and the late Whitney Houston would be posthumously recognised alongside American singers Chaka Khan, Cher and Paul Simon at the 68th edition of the Grammys.
