Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved a minor reshuffle in the State Executive Council with the redeployment of Christopher Green as State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
Under the new arrangement, Green, who until now served as Commissioner for Sports, has been appointed Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
The development was disclosed in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications Honour Sirawoo.
According to the statement, Christopher Green will, in addition to his new role, continue to coordinate the activities of the Ministry of Sports pending the appointment of a substantive Commissioner to head the ministry.
The redeployment takes immediate effect and was approved at the last State Executive Council meeting for the year 2025.
