The people of Ahoada West Local Government Area have pledged their “unflinching support” to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The assurance was given during the Minister’s “Thank You” visit to the LGA, which drew a massive crowd of supporters and political heavyweights from both the People’s Democratic Party, PDP* and the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Continuing his tour of the state’s local government areas, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike received a grand reception in Ahoada West.
The turnout was massive, as residents and stakeholders gathered in Akinima, administrative headquarters of Ahoada West LGA to welcome the Minister.
Political leaders in the LGA, citing Wike’s performance in Abuja and his consistent leadership, declared their unalloyed support for him.
The FCT Minister expressed his delight, noting that Rivers State has set a unique precedent by collapsing the structures of the two major parties—the PDP and APC—into the Rainbow Coalition in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Wike reiterated that President Tinubu has delivered significant gains for the people of Rivers State and deserves a second tenure.
He also sent a clear message to political rivals, warning those who expect an easy ride in the state’s next power struggle to have a rethink.
At the end of the visit, the Minister thanked the people for standing firm with the “Renewed Hope” family and urged them to remain committed to the ideals of the Tinubu administration.
