Amid pomp and pageantry, the 83rd edition of the annual Golden Globes Awards held Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Beverly Hilton, California, United States; as hosted by American stand-up comedian and actress Nikki Glaser.
The Golden Globes is an award ceremony which honours excellence in film and American television productions over the past 12 months.
The 2025 Drama/Action Thriller, “One Battle After Another,” a blistering satire centered on radical politics, won four Golden Globes, including the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director and Best Screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson as well as the Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Teyana Taylor.
The film “Hamnet” a drama with focus on William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes; that celebrated the birth of their son, Hamnet also won big.
