The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has stepped up its electronic membership registration drive by training additional agents to fast track the process.
The move aims at accelerating the ongoing e-registration exercise across the state’s 276 wards and address initial challenges related to manpower and logistics.
The training of supplementary agents to support those already deployed for a wider coverage of the All Progressives Congress ongoing E registration exercise was flagged off by the Party’s caretaker chairman Benjamin Omale in Makurdi the State capital.
Programme cordinator James Ornuga said the additional agents will help fast track the process, which they want to be completely seamless.
According to Ornguga he newly trained agents will be deployed immediately after the training exercise to their respective wards to work with those already on ground.
The exercise was launched earlier by the State Governor Hyacinth Alia on Monday at his home town in Vandeikya local government area of the State.
