The ruling All Progressives Congress says opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) cannot return to power in 2023 because it has nothing to offer the electorate going by what it described as its rotten antecedents.
In a new year message signed by the National Secretary of APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, John Akpanudoedehe, the party noted that the new leadership of the PDP has shown early signs that it is not different from the immediate- past leadership of the party.
The APC noted that the sole intent of the PDP is power grabbing as it ignores the need for genuine restitution.
The ruling party said it patiently awaits the PDP leadership to take up its challenge to return stolen public funds and assets still in possession of politically exposed persons during its 16-year administration.
The All Progressive Congress pledged its commitment to a true democratic culture built on genuine internal party democracy and a rancour free National Convention in 2022.
