Chairman of DAAR Communications Plc, Raymond Dokpesi Jr., is advocating for the full integration of technology in broadcasting and a conscious effort to safeguard the country’s information sovereignty, to allow Nigerians better tell their own stories.
Dokpesi, who declared his intention to lead the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria, BON on Wednesday in Abuja, intends to make these part of his key objectives and agenda when elected.
He says his ambition is to make broadcasting both profitable to operators and information, accessible to all Nigerians.
