President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, conveys condolences to the Ewhrudjakpo family, the people of Bayelsa State, and the Ofoni community.
Governor Douye Diri thanked Nigerians for their support and appealed to the Catholic Church to consider the creation of a Yenagoa Diocese in honour of the late Deputy Governor.
Late Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, born in Ofoni sixty years ago, served as Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State until his death on December 11, 2025.
