The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has ordered four freight forwarding associations to vacate the Hajj and Cargo Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, with immediate effect.
FAAN says the directive affects NAGAFF, ANLCA, APFFLON and NAFFAC, citing their failure to comply with an earlier quit notice issued in April 2025.
In a letter dated January 27, 2026, the Authority warned that enforcement action would be taken if the groups fail to vacate the premises.

The affected associations, under the Quadripartite platform, have rejected the move and also opposed FAAN’s planned increase in cargo charges from seven naira to twenty naira per kilogram, scheduled to begin February 2.
They are calling for dialogue, while FAAN insists on immediate compliance.
