Nigeria will validate a national document on input support and application that will allow farmers timely access to the needed inputs and also ensure appropriate methodology for fertilizer application.
Speaking at the validation workshop in Abuja, the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Development Fund, Muhammad Ibrahim, said the harmonized manual, when adopted, will provide a clear pathway for national implementation, through coordinated efforts by relevant institutions and extension systems.
The validation workshop aims to agree on the final technical positions, that will be practical for farmers, extension workers, and other end users across different agro-ecological zones.
