The Nigerian Customs has officially reopened the Tsamiya-Benin Republic border.
Comptroller General Bashir Adeniyi made this known during his courtesy visit to Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris at Kebbi State Government House.
He also said adequate measures are being taken to allow the free movement of about two thousand trucks that have been trapped at the border crossing for months.

Governor Idris is confident that the move will stimulate trade and commerce for the benefit of the Kebbi state, assuring that his administration will provide the necessary infrastructure at the Tsamiya border for the country’s benefit
