Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has directed the State Accountant General to immediately release February salaries to all civil servants across the State.

The move is aimed at easing financial pressure on workers and retirees, as they get set to begin the sacred month.

The directive was announced in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmud Muhammad, shortly after the Governor’s approval.

Governor Lawal also called on civil servants, pensioners, and the Muslim Ummah to use the holy month as a period of fervent prayers for lasting peace, unity, and stability in Zamfara State.

He stressed the importance of continued prayers toward overcoming security challenges and fostering sustainable economic growth and development.

He further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment, the governor assured workers and retirees that their welfare remains a top priority, alongside efforts to ensure the overall progress and stability of Zamfara State.
