Over 100 members of the Ogun State chapter of the African Democratic Congress, ADC converged on Abeokuta, to bury their differences ahead of the 2027 general election.
Party’s Deputy National Financial Secretary, Oladimeji Fabiyi who led other members from the 20 local governments affirmed party’s supremacy which overrides personal interest inorder to give everyone a sense of belonging.
The popular saying that “a house that is divided against itself cannot stand,” may have informed the decision of the ADC national leaders, to ensure that peace reigns in the Ogun State chapter of the party, especially regarding the controversial position of the party’s state chairman, Femi Soluade, who has been reinstated.
The party said it is imperative to be united to win the 2027 election, given the stakes at the national level. It also resolved to periodically hold stakeholders’ meetings to carry along every member.
