PAMO University of Medical sciences matriculates 204 undergraduate

The pro chancellor of PAMO University of Medical Sciences, Dr Peter Odilli, has commended the Nigerian government and the federal executive council for landmark decisions made about the award of professorial position in medical sciences, describing it as a breakthrough.

Odili who gave the commendation during the 9th matriculation ceremony of 204 undergraduate students of the 2025/2026 academic session of PAMO University of Medical Sciences, advise the students to maintain the standards of their predecessor by being of good conduct and committed to their studies.

The vice chancellor appreciating the pro chancellor Dr Peter Odilli, for his vision to establish pamo University, which has become a household name in medical education.

The VC advised the new students to always obey the rules and regulations of the institution .

The pro chancellor of PAMO University Dr Peter Odili wants the new students to maintain the standards just as he commended the federal government for the recent announcement that the medical fellowship is now recognized as equivalent to PhD. degrees for professorship.

The authorities of pamo University, the first privately owned medical sciences school in Nigeria, thanked the state government for the prompt payment of the scholarship fees for Rivers state indigenes, which, according to them, was awarded based on merit

Pamo University has contributed immensely to the medical profession in the country, as the institution has graduated over 155 medical doctors who have continued to distinguish themselves in their respective places of practice in Nigeria and overseas.
