The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Cross River State has expressed concerns over recent tensions within the party, attributing the disruptions to challenges in coordinating activities among different political blocs within the coalition.

Party officials emphasised that maintaining unity and adherence to the party’s constitutional structure remains a top priority.

Chairman of ADC in the state, John Ogar, who spoke through the Chairman of the Fusion and Engagement Committee of the party, MacFarlane Ejah,
clarified that recent actions by certain individuals were not formally approved by the state leadership.

He noted that the party is committed to promoting unity and adherence to its constitutional processes, including ongoing membership drives across the state.

The ADC affirmed that while it welcomes contributions from all members, any activities outside the official structure will not be recognised.

ADC leaders reaffirmed that the party will continue to prioritise transparent processes, membership participation, and internal harmony, emphasising that collaboration and adherence to established structures are essential to sustaining the coalition’s progress in Cross River State.
