As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has assured that his administration will continue to promote the peaceful and harmonious coexistence among residents regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
Governor Fubara, who received members of the Muslim community who paid him Sallah homage at Government House, Port Harcourt, noted that his administration will continue to make Rivers State safe for everyone.

Governor Siminalayi Fubara also disclosed that his administration has put in place an effective mechanism that will help avert the occurrence of any crisis between farmers and herders in the state.

Leader of the delegation, Nasir Uhor thanked the Governor for what his administration has done for the Muslim Community.
He also expressed appreciation to the Governor for fostering a peaceful environment that allows religious freedom to thrive.

As the Sallah visit comes to an end, Governor Siminalayi Fubara again reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, assuring that every religious group in the state remains a critical part of his “Rivers People First” agenda.
