Kaduna State Government has called for prayers for Nigeria’s armed forces in their ongoing fight against terrorism.
Deputy Governor, Hadiza Balarabe, made the call after observing the Sallah prayers at the Barnawa Central Mosque in Kaduna.
The Eid ground at Barnawa Central Mosque came alive with worshippers marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan in an atmosphere of reflection, gratitude and renewed hope.
Addressing journalists after the prayers, Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, urged Nigerians to remember the sacrifices of the nation’s armed forces by offering prayers for their safety and success in tackling insecurity.
She emphasised the need for unity and collective responsibility in building a peaceful society.

In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Barnawa Central Mosque, Sheikh Mohammed Bello, reminded faithful that the virtues of Ramadan must be sustained beyond the fasting period.
He urged Muslims to continue to live in peace, support one another and uphold moral values in their daily lives.
Worshippers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness the end of Ramadan, praying for peace, stability and prosperity in Kaduna State and the country at large.
